excellent base for exploring stunning landmarks and parks

the placement was brilliant as it was only a few steps away from the vibrant town center, and I thoroughly enjoyed walking to nearby Burghley House Gardens & Deer Park, which made for a relaxing afternoon stroll after a busy day of sightseeing.

Parking spaces on a slope raised concerns. scraping was an issue when maneuvering up and down. The bathroom in the Superior Double Room disappointed—lacking a proper shower setup and safety features like grab handles or a non-slip mat made it inconvenient and risky.

i had a lovely stay at no1 guest house. the deluxe double room with a shower was so comfortable, and the modern decor was a delight. it's in a fantastic spot, just a short walk to the town center but quiet enough for a good night's sleep. the owner and family were super friendly and helpful, making my stay even better.

Absolutely loved the room! The velvet chair and footstool added a touch of elegance, making it so cozy. I slept like a baby on the comfy, supportive bed, despite one lumpy pillow.

Had a lovely stay at No1 Guest House! The location was perfect for strolling into town. The room was super clean and comfy. Only downside was some noise from the traffic and guests, but I still enjoyed my time here.
